Langenthal - The Langenthal-based textile specialists lavie and Création Baumann are presenting their second joint collection of ready-made curtains under the motto “Made from leftovers to make you happy”. The focus of this limited-edition collection made from high-quality surplus materials is on the circular economy, transparency and traceability.
Lavie, a brand of Balsiger Textil AG with a focus on home textiles made from linen, organic cotton and hemp, has joined forces again with the family company Création Baumann, an interior design company with a proprietary design studio, to develop the limited Out-of-Stock Edition collection.
The Out-of-Stock Edition is the second collection of ready-made curtains jointly designed by the two Langenthal-based textile companies. It is based around the motto of “Made from leftovers to make you happy”. All curtains in the collection are made from high-quality leftover material stocks from Création Baumann, as detailed in a press release. As such, the products in the series are only available in limited quantities, albeit in a variety of exceptional colors.

Under the motto “Made from leftovers to make you happy”, Création Baumann x lavie brings out-of-stock textiles back into the textile cycle. Both brands attach particular importance to transparency and traceability along the entire supply chain. The cooperation is characterised by short delivery routes. The curtains in the collection were manufactured, pre-washed and packaged entirely in Switzerland. The Italian linen used to make the textiles was spun locally and woven and dyed as finished yarn in Langenthal in compliance with the highest quality standards.
